The survey is modeled after the student survey that our students in grades 3-5 will be participating in this month. The deadline for completing the survey is February 13, 2026. There are 22 questions, and the survey can be completed on any device with internet access. Welcome back, teachers! We hope you enjoyed a restful holiday break and are refreshed and ready to kick off an amazing 2026. We’re starting the new year feeling appreciated thanks to the generous treats provided by our CPIE partners—Bojangles on Inner Perimeter and Red Owl on Bemiss Road. Thank you for all you do each day, and here’s to a great start to the year ahead!

Back to School in 2026!

Dewar fifth graders had ❄️ SNOW ❄️ much fun reviewing math skills before their test! Their classroom became a winter wonderland where students flurried through problems, collaborated like pros, and proved that learning is so COOL! ⛄️❄️🧮 ☃️

Early Dismissal on Friday, December 19th!

Mrs. Singletary's and Ms. E's class learned about Christmas Around the World. Our students learned different traditions and celebrated with Los Pasados in Mexico. They tried walking tacos, Jarritos Mandarin soda, and Maria cookies. Feliz Navidad!

Congratulations to all of our fourth and fifth grade Spelling Bee participants for doing such a wonderful job this morning! Special congratulations go to our top three spellers!

Both Kai and Samantha will compete in the District Spelling Bee in January.
We also want to thank our wonderful judges for volunteering their time and all of the parents who came out to support their students.

Students in Dr. Heeter’s math classes had a smashing 💥 good time coming back from our break with a friendly game of divide ➗ and get pied! 🥧 Students worked hard, laughed harder, and made some incredibly sweet memories!🧁

Our Gingerbread House Competition is officially underway! Check out all the amazing creations and vote for your favorite using silver coins or dollar bills. Voting starts December 8th and ends on December 15th.

Every coin or dollar you drop in helps support the Student Council and the incredible things they do for our school and community. Remember, only one gingerbread house can be left standing!

Start saving that change and get ready to vote!"

It is the most wonderful time of the year....time for the 4th grade Christmas show! All 4th graders will be performing "Twas One Crazy Night Before Christmas" on the evening of Dec. 11th at 6:30 p.m.

December 9-12.

5th-grade students had a wild time at the Jacksonville Zoo! They spotted lions, tigers, and boars—oh my! By getting an up-close look at animals and their habitats, they experienced learning in a whole new way. The students were full of curiosity, teamwork, and smiles all day long, making it the perfect mix of fun and discovery—an adventure they won’t soon forget! 🌿🐅🐗
