They have worked tirelessly this year to help provide for our students and staff. From giving out donuts in the car rider line, to hosting dances, to feeding the staff, they are always eager to help! Many of our most active members are not parents but staff members that just want to support our school. 🏀 Shoutout to our incredible PTO for launching the NBA Club this year—Never Been Absent! 🎉 Each nine weeks, students with perfect attendance were recognized and celebrated with a certificate, coupons and prizes. But they didn’t stop there—at the end of the year, our PTO went above and beyond with an amazing drawing! 🎟️💥 Thanks to generous donations from individuals and local businesses, students had the chance to win: 🚲 Two brand-new bicycles 🎉 A birthday party package from Recoil 🏀 Two basketballs 🍦 An ice cream cake from Dairy Queen. Congratulations to all of our winners! We are SO thankful for our PTO’s creativity, dedication, and the incredible support from our community. When a 2nd grader challenged Ms. Stanley to a one-on-one basketball game, there was only one thing to do—hit the court! 🏀 Both brought their A-game! A beautiful reminder of the joy, connection, and community we build here at LPE. Moments like these show that learning and leading happen both in and out of the classroom! #LearningatLPE

Abrey Hurley from Mrs. Cliett’s Discovery class, won the Chick-fil-A Writing and Illustration Contest with her outstanding creativity and talent. Her entry impressed the judges and stood out among many submissions. As a reward, Abrey received an awesome Chick-fil-A swag bag filled with fun goodies. Even more exciting, her entire class got to celebrate with a free Chick-fil-A meal! Everyone is so proud of Abrey’s achievement and grateful for the delicious surprise. #LearningatLPE

Huge shoutout to our amazing PTO, Pepsi, and Dairy Queen Lake Park for treating our 5th graders to pizza, Blizzards, and soft drinks as they celebrate finishing elementary school! 🎉🍕🥤 Here’s to sweet endings and exciting new beginnings! #LearningatLPE

Our 3rd graders are celebrating their hard work with a Camp Read-A-Lot! 🌲✨ Dressed in their camping gear, they’re diving into books and enjoying delicious snacks right in the classroom. They even had some special guest readers join the fun. We are so proud of all of their hard work, and are happy to make some memories before the year ends! #LearningatLPE

🌮📚 Our Book Taco champions crushed their end-of-year reading goal and celebrated in style at a tropical luau! 🌺🍍 With Mrs. Golden and Mrs. Sherouse hosting, the students enjoyed tasty island snacks, summer bingo, and tons of fun games — from limbo and ring toss to crafts, tattoos, Connect 4, and even movie time! What a fantastic way to wrap up the year with good vibes and great reads! 🎉🌞📖 #learningatlpe

Ms. Webb’s class had a blast creating a candy salad with all kinds of fruity candies! 🍬 They practiced key math skills like sorting, addition and subtraction, and graphing — making learning sweet and fun! 🍓📊 #LearningatLPE

🍧Kona Ice will be at LPE this Friday, May 16. We will recognize our final Students of the Month and Kona Ice Super Students for the school year. Previous winners, be sure to bring your free refill cup. All students may purchase if they would like. #learningatlpe

✨ Countdown to summer! Our 2nd graders had an amazing Glow Day! 🌈 Every moment was all about “glowing!” 📚 Phonics fun with s blends, 🔍 homophone memory games, and reading about fireflies! 🎲 Math was a blast as they graphing skills in the dark! What a fun-filled day of glowing reviews! 🌟 #GlowDay! #LearningatLPE

Third grade finished their novel study, Because of Winn-Dixie, and celebrated by watching the movie and having a “Garden Party” like the characters had in the story. Thank you to our very own Winn-Dixie in Lake Park for their generous donations so that the students had a memorable (and delicious) celebration! #LearningatLPE

LPE has an amazing PTO! They have worked tirelessly this week to show our teachers and staff how much they are appreciated! And they aren't done yet... there's still donuts 🍩 to deliver and a dance 🕺 to sponsor tomorrow! Thank you to all of our dedicated PTO volunteers!!! Interested in helping?
