The Resource department went on a fun field trip to the Santa Fe College Teaching Zoo. 🐒🦉🦚The college students gave guided tours of zoo, giving fun information about the animals. 🦭 🐢 Watching a documentary on coral reefs in the planetarium was an amazing experience as well. #learningatlpe

And what’s a Seuss celebration without Green Eggs and Ham? 🍳💚😋 Our amazing lunchroom ladies served up the classic dish, making it a Seusstastic day from start to finish!

As an incentive for students who mastered their addition “ninja facts” the 2nd grade teachers set up a demonstration and lesson with some real life ninjas. Students got to learn some kicks and punches and watch the amazing skills of the instructors and LPE’s own junior ninja, Adrian 😉
We are so thankful for Mitchell Church with ATA Performance Martial Arts Academy for sending his team to our school. The students and teachers loved this so much!

👩🏫Teacher of the Month: Mrs. Kim Cliett
Mrs. Cliett is so much fun! She makes learning exciting for her students and brings joy to her coworkers, spreading happiness throughout the school. Always finding ways to make our environment more lively, she plays catchy songs during morning announcements, dresses up in costumes to sing, and plans cool events like pictures with Santa. Her cheerful demeanor creates an atmosphere that everyone loves. Mrs. Cliett is always smiling and willing to help out, engaging everyone and getting them ready for the day with trivia on Fridays. Her bubbly personality is contagious, and her students look forward to going to her class each day!
👩🏫Staff Member of the Month: Mrs. Lacie Johnson
Mrs. Johnson is always ready to go above and beyond to do what needs to be done, lending a hand wherever she is needed with a smile on her face. She consistently supports both the teacher and students in the classroom and is willing to do anything that is asked of her, even outside her own classroom. Her dedication and positive attitude make her an invaluable member of our team.
