5th-grade students had a wild time at the Jacksonville Zoo! They spotted lions, tigers, and boars—oh my! By getting an up-close look at animals and their habitats, they experienced learning in a whole new way. The students were full of curiosity, teamwork, and smiles all day long, making it the perfect mix of fun and discovery—an adventure they won’t soon forget! 🌿🐅🐗

Mrs. Morris and Mrs. Trina's Kindergarten class have their eyes on the prize by wearing their special reading glasses. These magical glasses turned these kindergarteners into super readers.

Our Girls on the Run team absolutely crushed their practice 5K! 🌟 Their determination, grit, and big smiles all the way through made the whole evening feel electric. Having parents and teachers lining the route, cheering them on, and even running with them, meant the world to the girls — your support lifted their spirits and pushed them to keep going.

We’re so excited for the 5K this Saturday at 8:00 AM at the courthouse. We can’t wait to see the girls shine!

Kindergarten Thanksgiving Fun!

Veterans Day is Tuesday, November 11!

Mrs. Niewoonder's class began learning about shapes! After learning the attributes of 2-dimensional shapes, students used Play-Doh to create shapes and review the number of sides and vertices of each shape.

Mrs. Morris and Mrs.Trina's Kindergarten class enjoyed a trip to Fifth Day Farms! Students had the opportunity to experience a pumpkin patch, a bounce house, and farm animals!

The Fall Festival is almost here!

Congratulations to our October Teacher of the Month: Alyssa Roberts “Ms. Roberts has been a bright ray of sunshine this year, and I absolutely love working alongside her. She works hard to make learning fun and engaging for her students. Her students love going to her class, but even more they love sharing all of the fun songs, dances, and other things she has taught them to help their learning become permanent. Her positive attitude shines and rubs off on those around her. Even as a first year teacher, she has already stepped out of her classroom and participates in Student Council and the PBIS team.
