Mrs. Justice's classes dug into how to turn weak research questions into strong ones before researching information on Alexander Hamilton to create one pagers.

Dr. Sherman's lesson on Newton's Laws took an exciting turn as students ventured to Recoil Trampoline Park, where they experienced firsthand the principles of motion and force! As they bounced on the trampolines, students observed Newton's First Law in action: objects in motion stayed in motion, and they felt the effects of inertia with each jump. The thrill of flipping and soaring through the air illustrated Newton's Second Law, as the force applied to their bodies determined how high they could go. After an energetic session of jumping, the class enjoyed a well-deserved lunch at Wendy's.

Peer leaders from PGM Sources of Strength volunteered at the Pine Grove Elementary Color Fun Run on Saturday. They had a great time “coloring” the runners (and themselves)! 👟🎨

Congratulations to our September Students of the Month!! We are proud of your hard work, positive behavior, and leadership. 😄 Thank you, Texas Roadhouse of Valdosta, for treating these students to a delicious lunch!

The Culinary Crusaders (fall groups) met for the first time this month and learned about kitchen safety, procedures, and knife skills. They sliced, diced, julienned, shredded, grated--and even learned to chiffonade! Of course delicious food was prepared: Turkey Veggie Wraps and No Bake Cookie Balls! Just 40 kids, having a blast! 🍗🥗🍪

Dr. Sherman's students engaged in a lively game of math musical chairs, which combined physical activity with mathematical challenges. Each chair had a math question attached, and those who sat down had to solve the problem before they could continue playing. This creative lesson not only made learning math concepts enjoyable but also encouraged teamwork and quick thinking. 🪑

When the student becomes the teacher! Mrs. Herman's Georgia Studies students led a review of the Siege of Savannah and the Battle at Kettle Creek.

Mrs. Norris and Mrs. Herb's classes enjoyed working outdoors on expository techniques task cards!

PGM's Fellowship of Christian Athletes is thankful for the wonderful turnout they had yesterday morning at See You at the Pole. They are grateful for all who assisted at the event and especially those students involved in leading small prayer groups. #FCA

Thanks to all who attended our parent night! We love having families in the building. 😊

Mrs. Martin’s classes completed a levels of organization gallery walk to begin their body systems unit.

8th grade ELA students read and analyzed an article about Alexander Hamilton's early life struggles and impact. 📖
