First they researched the sport, learning things such as how to play the sport, what is needed for the sport and its involvement in the Olympics. Then they used aluminum foil to create a model of the sport they researched. They did an amazing job! 👏#learningatlpe

Ever wonder what happens when science meets chocolate? 🍫🔬 Third graders conducted a delicious experiment using Hershey's Kisses to explore friction and heat energy! By creating friction, they generated heat and observed its effects on the chocolate. It was amazing to see science in action (and tasty too)! 😋 #learningatlpe

Exciting times in our 3rd-grade classrooms! 🎉 We've started the school year with a bang (or should we say, a pop?) by diving into the scientific method with a fun balloon experiment. 🎈🧪
Our young scientists mixed baking soda and vinegar to see if they could inflate a balloon attached to a bottle. The results? Lots of giggles, wide-eyed wonder, and inflated balloons!

Miss Meadows’ 3rd grade class had the best time creating “Smart Cookies” during Reading Flex time! 🌟 Teamwork in Action! 🌟 Mrs. Black's students tackled an exciting cup stacking challenge! 🥤🤝 They teamed up, using strings tied to a rubber band to lift each cup and create a stunning pyramid design!
