Mrs. Taylor’s Ceramics class enjoyed a demonstration on the potter’s wheel and artist talk from local artist Sarah Galeano! Sarah then provided Ceramics 2 & Ceramics 3 students with one-on-one instruction as several students got to try the wheel for the first time! These artists did a great job on the wheel!

Walk Through the Cold War: Protests, Space Races, Espionage, and Star Wars
Mr. Storey’s World History students just wrapped up their final unit with a hallway museum exhibit on the Cold War!
Students shared their research with faculty and staff on topics like the Berlin Wall, the Space Race, the Korean War, the U.S.–Soviet arms race, the shadowy world of CIA and KGB espionage, and the Vietnam War—along with the countercultural movements and anti-war protests that grew in response. Exhibits also explored President Reagan’s Strategic Defense Initiative, better known as “Star Wars.”
The exhibit offered students a meaningful opportunity to bring history to life and present their work to the school community. @onelowndes #BetterTogether
