Viking LogoThe Hahira Middle School Technology Student Association (TSA) recently traveled to Athens to compete in the Georgia TSA State Leadership Conference. Twenty-six students from HMS competed in over thirty-five STEM events in hopes of capturing the Georgia TSA state championship for the third year in a row. After two days of intense competition, they did just that. This year’s team captured 21 trophies that included (11) first place trophies, (7) second place trophies, (3) third place trophies, and an additional (12) top ten awards.

The following students comprised this year’s team: Isabel Autrey, Elizabeth Bell, Cadence Bellant, Ryan Bellflowers, Clancey Carter, Maggie Davis, Gracie DeFelice, John Fiveash, Miles Green, Drew Heruska, Jack Hillberg, Wade Lavender, Calvin Lee, Sam Lee, Jackson Mercer, Judson Ray, Janine Raymond, Delanie Roberts, Lyla Ruff, Ford Scott, Trista Simmons, Nathan Steel, Lena Sumner, Abigail Tindall, Uriah Wilson and Lexie Wright.
