Developing the BEST
Through Professional Learning, teachers in the Lowndes County School System have the opportunity to acquire and increase their content knowledge, develop and refine their instructional skills, and therefore become part of a highly motivated and trained corps of instructional teacher/leaders. This department is committed to providing the training and support needed to become and sustain a quality teaching staff. Professional learning opportunities are available through the following: school-based courses, system-based courses, Coastal Plains RESA, Valdosta State University, Abraham Baldwin College, and Wiregrass Technical College.
