Please read this entire page before beginning the application.

If you have your letter in hand from the school, click here to begin your application.  You will need the social security number of the guardian and student.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

  • All households with a child who was approved to receive free or reduced-price school meals under the National School Lunch Program or the School Breakfast Program, within the last 12 months, including children who attend schools participating in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), are eligible for ACP benefits. Lowndes County Schools have 4 CEP schools:  Moulton Branch Elementary, Clyattville Elementary Lake Park Elementary and Lowndes Middle School.  All students who attend these four schools mentioned previously are eligible no matter their socioeconomic status.
  • Households are also independently eligible if:
  • their income is at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level ($55,500 for a family of four); or
  • a member of the household participates in certain other Federal benefit programs—including, among others, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC), Medicaid, and Federal Public Housing Assistance.

For students who attend Moulton Branch Elementary, Clyattville Elementary Lake Park Elementary and Lowndes Middle School:

  • Download and save a copy of the Lowndes County School District CEP Letter to your computer or mobile device.  PDF Link   JPEG Link
  • Students received an enrollment verification letter from their school.  It will include all of the needed information that families will need to apply.  You can scan or take a picture of the letter to submit online.  If you think your student may be eligible and DID NOT receive a letter, please complete the form linked here, and we will contact you as soon as possible.
  • It is important that when you are completing the application that you indicate that your student receives “Free and Reduced Priced School Lunch or Breakfast Program or enrollment in a USDA Community Eligibility Provision School in the current school year” and then choose “Select a USDA Community Eligibility Provision School”.  At that time, you will indicate the State, County and choose the school your student attends

For students who are eligible for the program based on household size/income, Free/Reduced Lunch Program, or other Federal benefits programs (such as Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program, WIC, Medicaid or Federal Public Housing Assistance)

  • All participants will need verification of eligibility which could include:  Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program verification letter or other Federal Assistance documentation in a digital format.  This can be from emails or photos of the documents.  All students received a letter from school in regards to the Affordable Connectivity Program that can be used as verification that your family qualifies for Free or Reduced Lunch or Breakfast.   If you think your student may be eligible and DID NOT receive a letter, please complete the form linked here, and we will contact you as soon as possible.
