Lowndes County Schools will serve NO COST meals through USDA’s National School Lunch Program Seamless Summer Option (SSO) throughout the 2021-2022 School Year. This option maintains the nutrition standards of the standard school meal program – including a strong emphasis on providing fruits and vegetables, fluid milk, whole grains, and sensible calorie levels. We encourage all students to participate in the breakfast and lunch program offered at all Lowndes County Schools. Families do not have to submit a meal application to eat at NO COST.
