Survey We are inviting parents and community members to provide their input on the quality of education in the Lowndes County School System. The data gathered from the surveys will be used to make informed school improvement decisions, including allocation of funds for professional learning. This information will also be used to develop plans to ensure all students receive a high quality education from effective teachers. The survey will be available until February 3, 2012. Registration for 2011-12 All new Pre-K through 12th grade students will register at the Annex, located at the Lowndes Board of Education's Central Office at 1592 Norman Drive Valdosta (between Sam's Club and Lowndes High). No registration will take place at Hahira Elementary School. For details and required forms, click here: Lowndes County Registration ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ When registering after the first day of school, please register your child on a day prior to attending. We prefer to have at least the remainder of the registration day to make your child's placements, add an additional desk to the classroom, and gather materials to make your child feel welcome when they begin attending the following day.
