Moulton-Branch Elementary School’s faculty and staff are very proud of Henry Corbitt for becoming the conquering champion of a second Spelling Bee.  On Saturday, February 27, 2016, Henry won District Nine’s Spelling Bee in Bainbridge, Georgia.   Henry said, “District Nine’s Spelling Bee was not as challenging as Lowndes County Schools’ Spelling Bee."  A-r-i-s-t-o-c-r-a-c-y was the championship word Henry spelled during District Nine’s Spelling Bee.  After the Spelling Bee, another contestant told Henry that she knew she was going to have trouble when he began to confidently spell words during the Spelling Bee.    Henry will compete during Georgia’s State Spelling Bee on Friday, March 18, 2016, in Atlanta.   During an interview with MBES's Academic Coach, Shunder Smith, Henry stated, There is no doubt in my mind that I am going to win Georgia's State Spelling Bee!"
