The PAGE Student Teacher Achievement Recognition program honors Georgia’s highest-achieving high school seniors and the teacher most instrumental in their academic development. Since the inception of the program, more than 25,500 STAR students and teachers have been honored. Out of 11 regions, Lowndes High School student Maximilian J. Wang represented Region 10 at the Student Teacher Achievement Recognition STAR 2016 Banquet held in Atlanta, Georgia on April 18, 2016.  Max was sponsored by the Azalea City Kiwanis Club. Max plans to attend Harvard University in the fall.  He chose Mrs. Jennifer Graybeal to be his STAR Teacher. This is Mrs. Graybeal’s third time to be selected as a STAR teacher. It is an honor to recognize Georgia’s future leaders and the professional educators who have nurtured these scholars.
